KOREAS 3RD AEGIS GET'S HOIST

KOREA’S 3RD AEGIS GET’S HOIST, ...“THE PERFECT MACHINES FOR THE BEST NAVAL SHIP.”

What costs $1 billion dollars, takes 2.5 years to build, weighs 7,600 tons, can accommodate 300 people, and houses a fitness center featuring HOIST Fitness equipment? Korea’s 3rd AEGIS, the “Seoae Yu Seong Ryong”.

The ship features an AEGIS combat system with cannons, torpedos, guided missiles, a helicopter hangar, and SPY-1D radars to trace and detect up to 1,000 targets. Within those 1,000 detected tarkets, it can attack up to 20 targets simultaneously. While all these features are impressive, our FAVORITE section of the ship is the Fitness Center, which features HOIST’s CF and RPL product lines.

The Admiral of the Seoae Yu Seong Ryong Fleet tested several brands of fitness equipment and selected HOIST Fitness, stating that he is very happy that crew members—whose visits on the ship average 20 days—get to work out with HOIST Fitness equipment. A big “thank you” goes to Lohas Fitness for working closely with Korea’s Navy to ensure a seamless installation!

“I’m very much satisfied with the installation...these are the perfect machines for the best naval ship.” –Admiral of the Seoae Yu Seong Ryong Fleet.
