HOIST ROC-IT INSTALL AT EWHA

Ewha Womans University was founded by Methodist Missionary, Mrs. Mary F. Scranton in May 31st, 1886. Located at the center of Ewha campus is a state-of-the-art, multi-functional and futuristic Ewha Campus Center. The ECC was intelligently designed to give an “above ground” feeling and to serve as an underground campus and a sky park, containing 3 upper levels for education and cultural facilities, 2 lower levels for parking and a 5 level basement.

The ECC includes a student fitness center equipped with bicycles, treadmills, and a jogging course. There is also a variety of weight machines for muscular strength training, including the newly installed HOIST® ROC-IT™ line. Students are able to achieve a full body workout while on campus and in between classes.

LOHAS, a dealer of HOIST®, has recently worked with Ewha Womans University to install the ROC-IT™ line into the ECC fitness center. Alex, the CEO from LOHAS, convinced the university that the ROC-IT™ line compares to no other existing strength training equipment by showing the unique rocking movements during exercise. As a result, LOHAS was able to have the HOIST® ROC-IT™ line as the first foreign-made product purchased for Ewha Womans University. Since the ROC-IT™ line was installed, there has been an increase of users in the fitness center from students and faculty, three times higher than prior to the ROC-IT™ line install.
