HOIST KEEPS BODIES MOVING!

Nov 14, 2011

In 1977, a fitness company emerged in San Diego, California and quickly became one of the industry’s top creators of strength training equipment. Since then, HOIST Fitness has created a movement that’s influenced exercise philosophy around the world—while keeping their company moving forward on a path of innovation and growth.

Today, this success and stability has lead to the construction of a brand new facility. Slated to be occupied in the summer of 2012, the building sits on 6.8 acres in San Diego, California.

HOIST celebrated its groundbreaking on 11/11/11, at 11:11am. The entire San Diego team was in attendance at the site where the new building will soon be constructed. Team members with over 20 years of service were personally thanked by CEO Jeff Partrick and COO Billy Kim, and assisted in the groundbreaking.

"Creating our own building from the ground up let's us design a space specifically suited to our needs and style of collaboration. It also makes a strong statement about the strength of HOIST, our products and our commitment to the industry." —Jeff Partrick, CEO, HOIST Fitness Systems

HOIST’s vision for the future intends to build on the success of the ROC-IT line and embraces the ROC-IT’s principles into their business philosophy: Integration, correct movement and lasting strength.

”In an economy where there is very little capital investment and absolutely no new building starts, moving ahead with a new facility on 6.8 acres is a clear statement that HOIST Fitness refuses to sit still. They see the future and are building for it.“ —Greg Hamann, Hamann Construction
